Farrow & Ball

Walls - In an area that doesn’t see a lot of footfall, like a main bedroom, you could use a flat matt with Farrow & Ball’s Estate Emulsion (2% sheen) finish on your walls. This matt finish minimises imperfections and brings added depth to their rich colours. However, in an area like a kitchen, bathroom, or hallway it is always a good idea to use a wipeable paint such as Farrow & Ball’s Modern Emulsion (7% sheen). It is washable, wipeable and protects from mould. 

Woodwork - For your woodwork you can opt for either of Farrow & Ball’s Eggshell finishes; Estate Eggshell (20% sheen) or Modern Eggshell (40% sheen) for more durability. These are water-based finishes for interior wood and metal - the Modern Eggshell can even be used on floors.

Walls & Woodwork - Finally, Farrow & Ball have a tough flat matt finish, Dead Flat (2% sheen). This paint can be taken across walls, woodwork, and metal to transform your room in one finish. It is wipeable, scuff resistant and scrubbable meaning you can deal with marks without the paint coming off.

 Little Greene

Walls - Again, in an area that doesn’t see a lot of traffic, perhaps a home office, you could use a flat matt option with Little Greene’s Absolute Matt Emulsion (2% sheen). This finish will give your walls a lovely chalky look.

Woodwork - For your woodwork you can opt for either of Little Greene’s Eggshell finishes - Intelligent Eggshell (10-15% sheen) or Intelligent Satinwood (30-35% sheen) for more durability. Both are formulated to resist moisture, staining and general wear and tear. They are wipeable, durable and can withstand knocks.

Walls & Woodwork - Finally, Little Greene also have a have a tough flat matt finish, Intelligent Matt Emulsion (2% sheen). This paint can be taken across walls, woodwork, and metal to create a seamless look. It is wipeable, scuff resistant and scrubbable - meaning you can deal with marks without the paint coming off. It is water based, environmentally friendly, quick drying and low odour.
